SkyBelts

Looking for a cool fashion accessory with an airplane theme? Well we found one for you. www.SkyBelts.com has a very unique product. It is actually a seatbelt buckle that is converted into a stylish belt for your pants. So now you can get all those “that’s cool” looks as you walk around town or when you Non Rev.
SkyBelts started as a small venture by a Mother-Daughter team to earn money for a family vacation. Jennifer Longley, a former Flight Attendant, and her daughter Catherine realized that their idea could "Take Off" after Catherine received rave reviews from her peers when she wore her SkyBelt to school. Their wheels were set into motion and they developed what is now a fun new fashion trend quickly gaining popularity across the United States, Europe and the UK.

Another unique aspect about SkyBelts are custom designed SkyClips of states and travel destinations. SkyClips are fun to collect, trade, and personalize the belts. With a spectrum of interchangeable SkyBelt colors and coordinating SkyClips to choose from, you're sure to find a SkyBelt that fits your style.

SkyBelts start at $32.95 and come with a buckle and an adjustable belt. Additional belts start at only $12.95 and are interchangeable with your first SkyBelt, or any other belts purchased on SkyBelts.com. Basically, you only need one buckle. Buckles are available with a SkyBelts logo on the lid or without a logo. They have many different colors and patterns to choose from.

And just for our blog readers, SkyBelts is giving you a 15% discount on all SkyBelts and SkyClips with coupon code - airline15.  It is active through March 10, 2011 so you better check them out now!

So until next time,

It's Tax Time

Oh joy right? There are two things guaranteed in life - death and taxes. I will leave the death topic for another blog, but I can help you with taxes. How? There is a special web site that caters towards pilots and flight attendants and helps them maximize, I mean really maximize your write offs. And what’s even better than that? NonRevCheckin.com has partnered with www.ezperdiem.com to give you an extra discount. More about that later.

So what can www.ezperdiem.com do for you? Save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Did you know that the per diem your airline pays you is probably way below what the IRS thinks you should be paid? Surprise, surprise, the airlines are underpaying you. I started deducting this expense in my taxes last year and I was a fool for not doing it sooner.

What they do is look at every city you fly to and calculate the IRS standard per diem for the time you are there. You can take that information and either give it to your tax preparer or plug it yourself into the tax software you use. It is that easy.

It’s free to try and if you don’t benefit from it, they will give you your money back.

Looking for someone who knows our industry and can maximize your deductions to get you every penny? Well they can do that too. They have a tax service designed for pilots and flight attendants.

As I mentioned above, we have partnered with www.ezperdiem.com to give you a 10% discount on their services. You can receive this discount by either clicking on this link http://airlinecrewtax.com/ or when you register use the promo code: NONREV.

Welcome to my first blog!

Alright, here is the goal. I want to help airline employees with everything Non Rev and maybe even some extra’s.  So, starting with my next blog, I will review services and products that make your life in this industry so much easier and even save you some mula!

This is a list of a few things I will be covering for the next year –
  • Interline Web Sites – which one is the best one? Who has the best service? Who has the best prices?
  • Products for the airline employee. Anything and everything that makes your life easier and more enjoyable.
  • Interviews with Airline Travel Departments. Get some good tips from the airlines on non reving. Let’s see what we can learn!
  • And anything else I come across. Have an idea, well don’t be shy and let me know!

So make sure you follow this blog to get the latest information. I promise not to inundate you with tons of blogs but just enough to keep it going.

So until next time,
