Vacation Facelift

So have you ever thought of getting a cosmetic procedure, or a face lift ? Who wouldn’t want to look younger right? If that thought has ever crossed your mind, then we have found a solution for you at www.FaceLiftMexico.com They have put together a package that is more like a 5 Star vacation with the bonus of a facelift. You will literally come back from vacation with a newer and fresher you.

The top questions most people ask are how much is it? Is it safe? Where is it?  And what about the recovery?  We will cover each of those.

Cost

If you do your research in the United States, you will find a typical facelift will run somewhere between $15,000 to $20,000 as an outpatient service. With www.FaceLiftMexico.com the procedure is done in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and it is extremely affordable. The surgeon’s fee is only $6,500 for a complete facelift. Most of the other cosmetic procedures they offer are l/3 this cost of U.S. Prices. They have been sending patients to their board certified surgeons since 1994.

The all inclusive Hospital~Recovery Spa Club package for 10 days is additional and is not optional at $1800 for single occupancy or $2000 for double occupancy.

Tummy tuck, breast reduction and other surgeries that require a 14 day follow up can be combined with a 14 day package for $2,500 for a single and $2,700 for a double.

Is it Safe?

The surgery is performed in a state-of-the-art hospital in the operating room, with an M.D. anesthesiologist attending. You are in a private hospital room for three days following surgery, not an out-patient as is the case in the U.S. The surgeon is also known for his artistic reconstructive surgery and his facial work is accomplished with none of that "pulled taut look." Copies of his certificates and diplomas (he is board certified in Mexico), can be seen on their web site.  The doctor will perform only one major surgery daily.  He takes his time to do the procedure the right way, not like an assembly line you might find the U.S.  Hundreds have had surgery there with a 100% safety record attributed to the importance placed on the hospital stay and recovery time at the retreat.

Recovery

After the surgery you get two or three days in the hospital, (depending on the surgery) in a private room. Not like the U.S. where they send you home after a couple hours. You get attended to with a hospital level of care with your surgeon stopping by 3-4 times a day. After your hospital stay you go to their private Spa Club CASA MARINO nearby to get pampered by their experienced staff for an additional 6 nights. Your driver picks you up at the hospital and transports you to the Club. This private retreat for their patients only is a magnificent Spanish colonial villa, surrounded by 20 foot walls. Complete privacy for your recovery. After your initial day or two at the retreat, you can take in the sights while you finish the recovery. When your stay is all finished, your private transportation will take you back to the airport for your return to the U.S. For more information on the Spa Club Casa Marino including amenities and pictures, click here http://www.faceliftmexico.com/facelift-casa-verde.html.

Where?

San Miguel de Allende, Mexico was named in Vogue magazine as Destination of the Month.

It is only a 90 minute flight from Houston.  This is a 500 year old story book town high in the Sierra Nevada Mountains at 6,000ft elevation. Visiting there is like "going back in time" or possibly to Europe without crossing the Atlantic.

A big ex-pat population lives there.  They like it because of the spring like weather most of the time and the cool mountain air which is great for the healing process.

The package does not include airfare, but with your non rev privileges you can easily get down to the Leon Airport (BJX) via the following airports. Check www.NonRevCheckin.com for the latest loads.

SkyBelts

Looking for a cool fashion accessory with an airplane theme? Well we found one for you. www.SkyBelts.com has a very unique product. It is actually a seatbelt buckle that is converted into a stylish belt for your pants. So now you can get all those “that’s cool” looks as you walk around town or when you Non Rev.
SkyBelts started as a small venture by a Mother-Daughter team to earn money for a family vacation. Jennifer Longley, a former Flight Attendant, and her daughter Catherine realized that their idea could "Take Off" after Catherine received rave reviews from her peers when she wore her SkyBelt to school. Their wheels were set into motion and they developed what is now a fun new fashion trend quickly gaining popularity across the United States, Europe and the UK.

Another unique aspect about SkyBelts are custom designed SkyClips of states and travel destinations. SkyClips are fun to collect, trade, and personalize the belts. With a spectrum of interchangeable SkyBelt colors and coordinating SkyClips to choose from, you're sure to find a SkyBelt that fits your style.

SkyBelts start at $32.95 and come with a buckle and an adjustable belt. Additional belts start at only $12.95 and are interchangeable with your first SkyBelt, or any other belts purchased on SkyBelts.com. Basically, you only need one buckle. Buckles are available with a SkyBelts logo on the lid or without a logo. They have many different colors and patterns to choose from.

And just for our blog readers, SkyBelts is giving you a 15% discount on all SkyBelts and SkyClips with coupon code - airline15.  It is active through March 10, 2011 so you better check them out now!

So until next time,

It's Tax Time

Oh joy right? There are two things guaranteed in life - death and taxes. I will leave the death topic for another blog, but I can help you with taxes. How? There is a special web site that caters towards pilots and flight attendants and helps them maximize, I mean really maximize your write offs. And what’s even better than that? NonRevCheckin.com has partnered with www.ezperdiem.com to give you an extra discount. More about that later.

So what can www.ezperdiem.com do for you? Save you hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Did you know that the per diem your airline pays you is probably way below what the IRS thinks you should be paid? Surprise, surprise, the airlines are underpaying you. I started deducting this expense in my taxes last year and I was a fool for not doing it sooner.

What they do is look at every city you fly to and calculate the IRS standard per diem for the time you are there. You can take that information and either give it to your tax preparer or plug it yourself into the tax software you use. It is that easy.

It’s free to try and if you don’t benefit from it, they will give you your money back.

Looking for someone who knows our industry and can maximize your deductions to get you every penny? Well they can do that too. They have a tax service designed for pilots and flight attendants.

As I mentioned above, we have partnered with www.ezperdiem.com to give you a 10% discount on their services. You can receive this discount by either clicking on this link http://airlinecrewtax.com/ or when you register use the promo code: NONREV.
